Bhopal: Avinash Sharma, Chief Security Officer and Assistant Commissioner of Police (Security), has been conferred with the Union Home Minister’s Medal for Distinguished Service for the year 2025 in recognition of his long-standing, dedicated and exemplary service. The award has been announced by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs as part of its annual honours for police officers and personnel who have rendered commendable, exemplary and distinguished service.

His contributions have significantly enhanced security preparedness and operational efficiency.
