Auto driver among 2 die of suicide by hanging

Bhopal: An auto driver living in Eintkhedi area died of suicide by hanging himself in his house. A labourer living in the same area also died of suicide by hanging himself. No suicide note was found with either of them. At present, the police have registered a case and after conducting the post-mortem, handed over the bodies to the respective families. The reasons for the suicide will be revealed only after investigation.

According to the police, Ankit Sharma, son of Manohar Sharma (24), was originally a resident of Salamatpur district Raisen. At present, he lived in his own flat in Surya Vihar Colony on Jagdishpur Road and drove an auto. On November 1, his mother called him home, on which he refused to come home saying that he was tensed.

The next day he did not come out of the flat, so in the evening the neighbors saw him hanging on the noose and informed the family. When the family reached the spot and somehow broke open the door, he had already died. After getting the information, the police reached the spot, registered a case, got the postmortem done and handed over the body to the family. No suicide note was found near the deceased.

Labourer committed suicide by hanging

A labourer living in thed same area committed suicide by hanging himself. According to the police, Aman Singh Meena (38) was originally from Devalkhedi village. Currently, he lived in Parevakheda and worked as a labourer. Recently, his wife had gone somewhere with the children, after which he was at home with his nine-year-old daughter. On Friday night, Aman Singh committed suicide by hanging himself in his room.

On Saturday morning, when the daughter saw him, she raised an alarm, after which the people of the locality informed the police. The police registered a case, got the postmortem done and handed over the body to the family. The reasons for committing suicide in both the cases will be revealed only after investigation.

Youth who insulted the statue arrested

The police have arrested the accused youth who insulted the statue of former Prime Minister Pandit Lal Bahadur Shastri located at MVM Tiraha. During interrogation, the accused has confessed his crime.

According to the information, Yashwant Yadav, a resident of Jahangirabad, is the block president of the Congress Committee. He had given a written complaint to Arera police station on Saturday evening. In the complaint, it was told that anti-social elements had put shoes on the statue of Shastri installed at MVM College intersection near the old assembly, which insulted the statue and caused anger among the people. On the basis of this complaint, the police had registered a case against an unknown person. Station in-charge Manoj Patwa said that in view of the seriousness of the case, a special team was set up to arrest the accused. The team started searching for the accused on the footpaths and possible places around the incident site. Meanwhile, a suspicious young man was found sitting without shoes near the Municipal Corporation Park near the new police control room. When the police took him into custody and interrogated him, he confessed his crime. The name of the accused has been told to be Karan Bairagi (35), resident in front of Birdla Mandir, Om Nagar slum police station Arera Hills.

Father and sons together set grandfather on fire

In Berasia area, a man and his sons together set grandfather on fire over land dispute. The seriously burnt elderly man has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case against the three accused under various sections including attempt to murder and arrested them.

According to the police, Saroj Bai wife oof Dhannalal Kushwaha (40) lives in village Arjunkhedi police station Berasia. She does farming as well as labourer. On Saturday, Saroj Bai had gone to Lalaria for work with her son Charan Kushwaha. When she returned, daughter-in-law Sunita Bai told that Bhavani Kushwaha had come home with his sons Golu Kushwaha and Sumit Kushwaha regarding the division of land. All three forcibly entered the house abusing and started saying that grandfather Karan Singh did not give them the right share, so they should burn him to death. After that, the three set the house on fire, due to which Karan Singh’s hands, legs, back, head and a large part of his body got burnt. After that, Karan Singh was taken to the government hospital for treatment. On the report of Saroj Bai, the police have registered a case against the father and sons under various sections including attempt to murder and arrested them.
