Nigeria, Feb 9 (UNI/SPUTNIK) At least 30 people have been killed in a large-scale traffic accident in northern Nigeria, the Daily Post newspaper reported on Sunday, citing local authorities.
The incident occurred in the country’s second-largest state of Kano, the report said. Numerous people were injured.
The newspaper cites careless driving as the cause.
State Governor Alhaji Yusuf reportedly expressed his condolences to the families of the victims.
