Baghdad, July 31 (UNI) At least three Iraqi paramilitary Hashd Shaabi members were killed and seven others wounded on Tuesday in an unknown drone attack on a military base in Babil province south of Baghdad, an Interior Ministry source told Xinhua.
The attack occurred Tuesday night in the Jurf al-Nasr area in the northern part of Babil province.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack, and there has been no immediate statement from the Iraqi authorities about the incident.
The Hashd Shaabi forces, also known as Popular Mobilization Forces, is a state-sponsored paramilitary network composed of mostly Shia Muslim groups.
