Jammu, Aug 16 (UNI) Stating that the party is fully prepared for the Assembly election, Jammu and Kashmir unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday welcomed the three-phase polling announced by the Election Commission of India.
Jammu and Kashmir BJP President Ravinder Raina in a handout issued here has welcomed the announcement of the assembly election in Jammu and Kashmir.
Raina said that they were eagerly waiting for this announcement since Lok Sabha Election and added that the BJP is fully prepared for the Assembly election in Jammu and Kashmir.
“I am quite sure that the people of Jammu and Kashmir will support BJP wholeheartedly in Assembly Election and we will form our own government in J&K.
He said in last 10 years, the Modi Government through relentless efforts and initiatives, has strengthened peace, prosperity and started a new era of development by strengthening democracy in J&K”, said Raina.
The J&K BJP President said that the assembly election will further strengthen the roots of democracy, opening the door to a new period of development for J&K.
Raina further said the people of Jammu and Kashmir shall actively participate in the election and vote in large numbers to form a government that will sustain peace and development and ensure a brighter future for the younger generation in Jammu & Kashmir.
