Aneet Padda shines as showstopper for Tarun Tahiliani’s ‘Bejeweled’ at Lakmé Fashion Week Grand Finale

New Delhi, Oct 13 (UNI) Aneet Padda, a face to recognize from Saiyaara, stole the show as the showstopper of Tarun Tahiliani’s stunning grand finale collection, Bejeweled, at Lakmé Fashion Week x FDCI.

Blazing in a golden beige Tahiliani outfit, her look perfectly blended classic sophistication with contemporary chic, set off with detailed crystal embroidery and sparkling touches.

Aneet’s serene and assured walk on the ramp had the crowd in awe. Aneet gained widespread popularity for her powerful performance in Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara, in which she appeared along with Ahaan Panday. The movie received acclaim for its moving content, soulful music, and exceptional performances.

Tahiliani’s Bejeweled collection opened with striking black and gold armor-like jackets, kimonos, and jewel-printed bombers. It then transitioned into draped dresses, chiffons, and satins in rich jewel tones of emerald, aubergine, amethyst, and ruby. Pearls appeared in unexpected forms, like belts, bags, and talismans, carried close to the body as treasures.

The official Instagram post wrote about the collection as a celebration of the ageless beauty of Indian culture, adding, “For Tarun Tahiliani, jewels are metaphors for light, transformation, and the ageless glamour of our culture. To be jeweled in India is to be draped not just with gemstones, but with memory, craft, and the sensuality of the land itself.”

The collection progressed from formal, jewel-colored pieces to freer, sculptural silhouettes in metallic crushed fabrics—dull gold, rose, and silver colors with diamonds. The whole line translated Tarun’s vision of India Modern, the combination of heritage with new construction, restraint, and fluidity. In Bejeweled, ornament went beyond accessories to become a defining aspect of the woman herself.

The Lakmé Fashion Week from October 8 to October 12 commemorated the imagination of India’s leading fashion designers and newer talent, ending on a high note with Bejeweled.
