Amrit 2.0 scheme to expand sewage network in Narela

  • More than 50 thousand households will benefit

Bhopal: In a significant development, Cooperative Minister Vishwas Sarang on Monday reviewed the proposed construction works under the “Amrit 2.0 Yojana” across all 17 wards of Narela constituency. Officials announced that a 268-kilometer sewage network will be established, connecting over 50,000 households to modern sewage facilities.

Minister Sarang emphasized the importance of a detailed, ward-wise survey before work begins, ensuring accurate mapping of every house, street, and drain. This will facilitate the creation of a precise, scientific action plan. He also instructed that excavation work be limited to 200 meters at a time to minimize disruption for residents.

Highlighting the role of technology, Sarang directed the use of GI tagging for accurate digital mapping and the development of a dedicated mobile app to keep citizens informed about project progress.

To ensure the system’s efficiency, Sarang insisted on constructing chambers for every household and establishing a pump station between two wards. He also stressed the importance of completing the project on time while maintaining high quality standards. Sarang stated that this initiative will transform Narela into a cleaner, healthier, and more convenient area for its residents.
