Mumbai, Mar 5 (UNI) Recently, the set of “Bhooth Bangla” was transformed into a mini cricket ground, where Akshay Kumar was seen playing the gentleman’s game with Shikhar Dhawan.
After a long wait of 14 years, Bollywood’s famous actor-director duo, Akshay and Priyadarshan, are coming together again for ‘Bhooth Bangla’ and this news has created immense excitement among the fans.
The duo is known for giving some of the most loved comedy films in Hindi cinema. This time, they are returning with a horror-comedy that promises both scares and laughter. Produced under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures, the film is expected to bring back their signature humor, perfect comic timing and the clean family entertainment that made their previous films so popular.
What started as a casual game quickly turned into full-on cricket fever on the set, with laughter, fun and team spirit prevailing between shots. The fun intensified when Akshay issued an open challenge to the entire crew and announced a cash prize for the winning team.

Balaji Motion Pictures, a division of Balaji Telefilms Limited, in association with Cape of Good Films, presents “Bhooth Bangla,” starring Akshay Kumar, Vamika Gabbi, Paresh Rawal, Tabu and Rajpal Yadav.
Helmed by Priyadarshan and produced by Akshay, Shobha Kapoor and Ekta R. Kapoor, the film is scheduled to release in theatres on April 10, 2026.
