Bhubaneswar, Dec 3 (UNI) Air India Express has announced the launch of four new routes from Bhubaneswar.
These services will connect the city to Jaipur, Lucknow, Kochi, and Patna.
This expansion reinforces Bhubaneswar’s connectivity to key regional and cultural centres across India.
The services to Jaipur and Kochi will commence on January 3, 2025, followed by the launch of flights to Lucknow on January 4, 2025 and Patna on January 15 2025.
Bookings are now open on Air India Express’s award-winning website, airindiaexpress.com, and other major booking platforms.
The Bhubaneswar-Jaipur flight will operate four days a week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The plane will leave Bhubaneswar at 7.55 AM and land at Jaipur at 10.15 AM. On return journey the plane will leave Jaipur at 10.45AM and land at Bhubaneswar at 13.05.
The Bhubaneswar-Kochi flight will operate daily. The plane will leave Bhubaneswar at 15.10hrs and land at Kochi at 17.40hrs. In return direction, the plane will leave Kochi at 18.10hrs and reach Bhubaneswar at 20.50hrs.
The Bhubaneswar-Lucknow flight operates three days a week—Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. The plane will leave Bhubaneswar at 07.55 AM and reach Lucknow at 09.40hrs and in the return direction the plane will leave at 11.15 and reach Bhubaneswar at 13.05hrs.
Bhubaneswar- Patna flight will operate on all seven days a week. The plane will leave Bhubaneswar at 14:55 and reach Patna at 16:20 hrs and it will leave Patna at 17:00 hrs and reach Bhubaneswar at 18:30 hrs.
Air India Express now operates 104 weekly flights from Bhubaneswar, connecting the city directly to major destinations including Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna.
The expansion of flight operations from Bhubaneswar will not only foster regional integration but also support key stakeholders, including personnel at the Chilka Naval base, students at universities in the state, and professionals in Odisha’s diverse industries.
