AIDS awareness campaign through marathon

Bhopal: Under the instructions given by the Madhya Pradesh AIDS Control Committee/NACO and National Service Scheme Cell of Madhya Pradesh Government Higher Education Department, today for widespread public awareness about HIV/AIDS, through Red Ribbon Clubs marathon runs in the colleges of Barkatullah University at the district level/university level were organized. The Red Run Marathon competition was organized.

In this, Vice Chancellor Barkatullah University Prof SK Jain, State NSS Officer Dr RK Vijay, Regional Director MP Dr Ashok Kumar Shroti, Registrar IK Mansoori, Joint Secretary MP AIDS Control Committee Savita Thakur, Program Coordinator and State Nodal were present as chief guests. Officer Red Ribbon Club Dr. Anant Kumar Saxena, DSW Prof. Pawan Kumar Mishra, ETI Instructor and Program Officer Rahul Singh Parihar, Dr. Dharmendra Bahadur Singh, organizer college called upon the youth to completely eradicate HIV/AIDS.

In the organization of BSSS College, a marathon competition was organized by the Raseo Cell of Barkatullah University in the open space of Gyan Vigyan Bhawan from 8 am today with the youth in the age group of 17 to 25. It started from Gyan Vigyan Bhawan and ended there while touring the campus. About 200 youth participated in it.

First position among the girl students was Tanvi Dodve, BSSS College, Bhopal, second – Shivani Uike, JH College, Betul, third – Pramila Dhurve Girls College, Betul, while first among the students was Vimlesh Kumar, Madhyanchal Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal, second was Rahul Kumar, RNTU Bhopal. Third Mithun Kumar was from JH College, Betul.
