Bhopal: Higher Education, Technical Education and AYUSH Minister Inder Singh Parmar reviewed higher education in the private sector by holding a meeting of MP Private University Regulatory Commission in his chamber at the Ministry on Wednesday. Parmar said that for the quality and transparency of higher education, the academic calendar should be strictly followed in private universities. He directed to ensure that the admission process of students is completed by July 31. Also, the information of students admitted in the session in private universities should be displayed on the portal.
Higher Education Minister Parmar discussed in detail various points including the completion of the admission process of students within the stipulated time period, the presence of students and professors. He said that the admission of students in private universities should be done within the stipulated time period, the session should start on time and the results should be released on time after the examination. Asked to complete the admission process of students in private universities by July 31. The admission process of students should be completely transparent, there should not be any kind of irregularity. Parmar said that a comprehensive action plan should be made and implemented to ensure maximum attendance of students and professors in the classes. Private universities should ensure the availability of mark sheets and degrees of all students in DigiLocker. He gave necessary guidelines to establish excellence in National Assessment and Accreditation (NAAC) grading in private universities.
