43 probationary administrative officers undergoing training at Madhya Pradesh Police Academy Bhauri visited the state level police control room Dial 100 on Wednesday. These administrative officers are receiving five-day police introductory training at the Police Academy.
The team of Dial 100/112 gave detailed information about the service to the visiting officers under the guidance of Senior Superintendent of Police Radio Vijay Kumar Khatri and under the direction of Superintendent of Police Bina Singh. Deputy Superintendent of Police Dial 100 Dharamveer Singh took the visiting officers on a tour of the call taker room and dispatcher room and informed them about the action taken on the information received. The Superintendent of Police informed the officers about the excellent policing being done by Madhya Pradesh Police using state-of-the-art technical resources. He said that Dial 100 service is the country’s first state level integrated police emergency service.
The visiting officers were given various information by taking them on a tour of SCMRC regarding more than 11000 cameras installed for city surveillance under the CCTV scheme in 60 different cities of the state. Along with this, a demo was given regarding ANPR cameras used for vehicle search, VDP portal and information was given through live monitoring of CCTV cameras.
