Mumbai, March 19 (UNI) After “Daldal” and “Subedaar”, Aditya Rawal has set foot in the crime thriller series “Tax Department Story” against the formidable antagonist played by Ravi Kishan.
Prime Video on Thursday announced the first-look, along with its logline: “an intense new drama that dives into the world of financial crime and power.”
The series follows a newly appointed Revenue Services officer who takes on one of the most powerful white-collar criminals in the city. As the investigation unfolds, the narrative explores the complexities of power, corruption and the cost of justice, with the central idea that even victory comes at a price.
The series underscores Aditya’s sustained creative partnership with Prime Video, marking his fourth outing with the platform. For Ravi, however, it signals a new beginning, as he partners with the streaming service for the first time.
Backed by Reliance Entertainment and Dopamine Media, the series promises a gripping narrative rooted in corruption, justice and personal cost. The writing team includes Prashant Raj, Abhishek Dubey, Samyak Singh, Satvika Kundu and Anu Singh.
The series also features Ashvini Bhave, Rajesh Kumar, Barkha Singh, Sarika Singh, Prateik Pachori and Kaveri Seth.
