- Five illegal pistols and 5 live cartridges seized, one absconding accused arrested
Datia: Under the direction of Superintendent of Police Datia Birendra Mishra, under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Mr. Sunil Shivhare and during the campaign being run by SDOP Datia Ms. Priyanka Mishra, five criminals were arrested in two days by Thana Kotwali Police Datia with illegal weapons 315 bore pistols. Police recovered five 315 bore pistols and live cartridges from the possession of the accused.
The Kotwali Police received information from an informer that different accused are roaming around in the police station area with illegal weapons with the intention of committing a crime. On the information of the informer, a team formed under the leadership of Thana Incharge Kotwali was sent to different crime scenes and the accused were caught on 23 and 24 February by cordoning off the area. These include Soharav alias Saurabh Khan son of Ansar Khan, age 28 years, resident of Idgah Mohalla Datia, Prince son of Lokendra Parmar, age 21 years, resident of village Hathlai Jigana Datia, Rinkal alias Nirpendra Parmar son of Ravindra Singh Parmar, age 29 years, resident of Jigana, Samyak Sharma son of Pawan Sharma, age 25 years, resident of Bikar police station Dursada Datia, Sumit Yadav son of Rambabu Yadav, age 25 years, resident of Udina police station Gondan Datia.
The accused were arrested and five illegal weapons, 315 bore pistols and five live cartridges were recovered from the possession of the accused and a case was registered against the accused under Arms Act. Dozens of crimes are registered against the arrested accused in the past. 12 crimes are registered against accused Rinkal alias Nirpendra Parmar in Datia, which include serious crimes like attempt to murder and robbery and rape. The accused is a criminal with a reward of Rs. 5000. Accused Saksham Sharma resident of Bikar police station Dursada has 16 crimes registered against him in various police stations of the district, which include crimes of robbery, attempt to murder, theft, assault etc. Accused Soharv alias Saurabh Khan resident of Idgah Mohalla Datia has 4 crimes registered against him.
Accused Prince resident of village Hathlai Jigana has 5 crimes registered against him. Accused Sumit Yadav resident of Udina has 2 crimes registered against him. During the proceedings, police station in-charge Kotwali Inspector Mr. Dhirendra Mishra, Mr. Arvind Bhadauria, Mr. Amit Osare, Mr. Shatrughan Mishra, Mr. Sudhir Sharma, Rampratap Segar, Mr. Sanjeev Sharma, Mr. Rajendra Baghel, Mr. Gyanendra Sharma, Mr. Brijmohan Sharma, Mr. Hemant Prajapati, Mr. Arvind Rawat, Mr. Devesh Sharma, Deepak Shukla, Mr. Pushpendra Rawat, Mr. Ravindra Yadav, Mr. Dharmendra Sharma, Mr. Firoz Khan, Mr. Layakram, Mr. Chandramohan and their team played a commendable role.
