ACP Bittu Sharma takes charge of Jehangirabad Division

Bhopal – Known for her disciplined and dynamic policing, ACP Bittu Sharma has officially taken charge of the Jahangirabad Division under Bhopal’s urban police system. Her appointment is being seen as a step towards more effective and accountable law enforcement in one of the city’s most sensitive areas.

ACP Sharma is among Madhya Pradesh Police’s most committed and efficient officers. She has previously served in key roles, including Deputy Superintendent of Police (Railways), Bhopal, where she focused on railway security, crime control, and passenger safety. Her tenure in the Property Cell and other branches also earned her praise for integrity and professionalism.

The Jahangirabad Division includes Jahangirabad, Bajaria, and Aishbagh police stations—areas known for traffic congestion, high crime activity, and crowd management challenges. Since assuming charge, she has emphasized on-ground presence and active monitoring.

Recognized for her firm yet fair approach, ACP Sharma believes in field-level leadership. Her posting is expected to bring a more responsive and people-oriented policing model, raising hopes of improved safety and law enforcement across the division.
