Bhopal: The middle-aged accused who had bad touch with a 6-year-old innocent in Gandhi Nagar police station area has been presented in the court by the police and sent to jail. The accused told during interrogation that his intentions became bad after seeing the girl alone. He caught the girl because he was drunk.
The accused used to work as a laborer. However, he has denied committing any such crime in the past. The police is investigating his old record.
The girl’s parents had gone to work
Gandhi Nagar police said that the incident happened on Tuesday evening. The girl’s parents were out of the house for work. The maternal grandparents were also out, when the family came home, the girl told them that a person living in the neighborhood had touched her indecently.
The girl’s family immediately informed the police. Seeing the seriousness of the case, the police took immediate action and arrested the accused middle-aged man. The police recorded the girl’s statement.
The family demanded strict action
The girl’s family has demanded strict action against the accused. They said that the girl is still in shock from this incident. She is afraid to talk to anyone other than family members. Police is also questioning her.
