Account of achievements and development over 9 years: Yogi in letter to people of UP

Lucknow, March 23 (UNI) On the occasion of the completion of nine years of the Uttar Pradesh government, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued a heartfelt letter addressed to the people of the state.

In this letter on Monday, CM has provided a detailed account of the state”s development, good governance, and initiatives related to public welfare.

Beginning his message with an invocation of the blessings of Goddess Durga, the Chief Minister stated that, powered by spiritual inspiration and public participation, Uttar Pradesh has achieved unprecedented progress over the past nine years.

He noted that the state is currently establishing new benchmarks in development, and a positive transformation has been witnessed in administrative functioning.

The letter specifically highlights the increasing participation, self-confidence, and economic empowerment of women in rural areas.

He explained that, thanks to the impact of government schemes, women are now rapidly integrating into the mainstream of development, and significant improvements have also been observed in the sectors of health and education.

Referring to the situation prior to 2017, the Chief Minister remarked that, at that time, the state”s youth were compelled to migrate in search of employment; today, however, Uttar Pradesh has emerged as a hub for both employment and investment.

He also highlighted the fact that the youth are now securing government jobs through transparent recruitment processes.

While outlining the reforms undertaken in the education sector, he stated that children from poor and working-class families are now also receiving quality education—a goal achieved through initiatives such as the *Atal Awasiya Vidyalayas* (Atal Residential Schools).

Furthermore, efforts aimed at extending the benefits of government schemes to the deprived and backward sections of society, improving law and order, and ensuring the safety of women have also been prominently featured in the letter.

The Chief Minister attributed these achievements to the government”s sustained efforts and the unwavering support of the public.

In conclusion, the Chief Minister called upon the people of the state to ensure their active participation in nation-building and in the holistic development of the state.

He expressed his hope that all citizens would join hands to contribute towards making Uttar Pradesh even more prosperous and self-reliant.
