Aarush Tiwari, a student ofDPS VasantKunjClass IX, has won a Bronze Medal at the 6th Edition of the Khelo India Winter Games 2026, held in Leh from 20th to 26th January 2026.
Aarush competed in Figure and Speed Skating and secured the medal in the Basic Novice Boys (BNB) category, competing against participants from 19 States and Union Territories across the country. This achievement is especially noteworthy as this edition of the Khelo India Winter Games marks the first-ever inclusion of Figure Skating as a competitive discipline, with the minimum age criterion set at 13 years and above.
At just 13 years of age, Aarush was the youngest participant in his category, making his debut appearance at the Khelo India Winter Games. His bronze medal is also significant as it is the first medal for Team Delhi at the 6th Edition of the Khelo India Winter Games 2026.
