Aaron Pierre boards ‘Superman’ sequel ‘Man of Tomorrow’

Los Angeles, March 13 (UNI) Actor Aaron Pierre has joined the cast of ‘Man of Tomorrow’, the forthcoming DC Studios sequel to the 2025 blockbuster ‘Superman’.

The film will once again be written and directed by James Gunn and is scheduled for theatrical release on July 9, 2027.

This latest film sees Superman and Luthor team up to fight the technological alien threat known as Brainiac. Lars Eidinger will play the role of Brainiac, reports DEADLINE.

Rachel Brosnahan, Skyler Gisondo and Sara Sampaio are among those reprising their roles from the last film. Production is scheduled to begin in April in Atlanta and go into the summer.

For Pierre, this marks his second DC Studios job as he is set to star in the “Green Lanterns” series, “Lanterns”, later this summer on HBO. Apart from his DC projects, Pierre will also be seen in the upcoming Star Wars film “Star Wars: Starfighter”, which is scheduled for release next summer.
