New Delhi, Jan 22 (UNI) Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh on Wednesday said that his party would secure over 60 seats once again in the next month Assembly election and form the government with a sweeping majority.
Talking to media, Singh attacked the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that the BJP cannot win the Delhi elections by lying.
“Arvind Kejriwal would remain the Chief Minister of Delhi and that AAP would secure over 60 seats with a resounding majority,” he claimed.
The Rajya Sabha accused PM Modi of being frustrated and lacking any vision or plan for Delhi.
Singh further said, “PM Modi had promised 20 million jobs annually, permanent housing for everyone, and ₹15 lakh in each person’s bank account, but none of these promises were fulfilled.”
“Prime Minister cannot secure a future for children, nor can he build schools and hospitals. Instead, he accused the BJP of being a party focused on building crematoriums.”
Referring to PM Modi’s remarks in Uttar Pradesh about creating jobs through cow dung, the senior AAP leader claimed that no such jobs have materialized in the state.
Singh also pointed out that PM Modi had promised permanent housing for everyone by August 15, 2022, but this promise remains unfulfilled.
He highlighted, “Prime Minister had pledged permanent registry for residents of Delhi, which has not been delivered,” adding that if Modi thinks he can win Delhi elections with such false promises, it is not going to happen.
