AAP condoles demise of Manmohan Singh, calls it an irreparable loss

New Delhi, (UNI) The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday expressed condolences over the demise of former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, calling it an irreparable loss for the country.

In a social media post on X, AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal said, “The demise of former Prime Minister of India Dr Manmohan Singh is an irreparable loss for the country.”

“It is impossible to put his qualities of wisdom and simplicity into words. May God grant the noble soul a place in his lotus feet. My condolences to his family and well-wishers,” he said.

Meanwhile, Delhi Chief Minister Atishi tweeted, “With the passing of former Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh, the country has not just lost a world-renowned economist, but a leader whose erudition and dignity will always be remembered.”

“Deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. May God give them strength at this difficult time,” she added.

Senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia remarked, “The demise of former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh marks the end of an era. His life, filled with simplicity and service, will always inspire us.

“This is a profound loss for the country, one that is difficult to overcome. The nation will never forget his contributions and sacrifices. I pray to God to grant peace to his soul and strength to his family to bear this immense sorrow,” he added.
