Bhopal: Man neither possesses the strength of a lion, nor the speed of a leopard, nor the agility of a deer—yet man is superior. Explaining this, Munishrestha Praman Sagar Maharaj said, “It is the power of the mind, thoughts, and determination that makes man great.”
He was addressing devotees at Vidyapraman Gurukulam, Awadhpuri. Spokesperson Avinash Jain Vidyavani informed that Lord Mahavir attained Moksha on Kartik Amavasya, and Nirvana Laddus will be offered in his honor. On the same day, Gautam Ganadhar Swami attained Kaivalya Gyan. Hence, the Jain community will celebrate Diwali on 20 October, marking the conclusion of Chaturmas.
Muni Shri emphasized, “The direction of our life depends on where we lead our mind.” He said that a mind entangled in desires causes bondage, while a detached mind leads to liberation.
True transformation begins by changing the direction of the mind, not just actions. “Speech and behavior may deceive, but thoughts reveal true identity—like an X-ray,” he said.
Muni Shri concluded, “Material resources are not bad, but making them life’s goal is. Spiritual thinking leads to real growth and liberation.”
