New Delhi / Pauri Garhwal:
The Uttarakhand Advertising Club (UKAC), Delhi, established with the sole objective of doing something positive for the people of Uttarakhand by Uttarakhand migrants living in Delhi, continues to make meaningful contributions to society. Advancing this vision, UKAC has taken another significant step in the field of education.
Last week, a symbolic cheque of 82,800 was handed over to the management of Saraswati Shishu Mandir School, located in Ghurdodi village of Pauri Garhwal district, towards sponsoring one year’s education fees for 12 students. The cheque was presented by Mr Manoj Dobhal, a senior UKAC member and the Chairman, Whole-Time Director and CEO of Dish TV.
Under this commitment, the fees for January 2026 for all 12 students have already been deposited into the school’s account. These students were at risk of discontinuing their education due to financial constraints, and UKAC has expressed pride in ensuring that their learning continues without interruption.
UKAC remains actively engaged in the education sector, regularly organising special sessions across schools and colleges in Uttarakhand focused on skill development, confidence building and motivating young people to achieve their goals. The organisation firmly believes that education is the most effective tool for bringing about lasting and positive social change and will continue its efforts in this direction.
