Red Fort bomb blast case: NIA searches multiple locations in J&K; digital devices seized

New Delhi, Mar 23 (UNI) As part of its continuing investigation into the Delhi Red Fort area car bomb blast case, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday conducted extensive searches at several locations in Jammu and Kashmir.

The counter-terror agency, which is pursuing various leads in the case, searched nine locations in the districts of Srinagar, Baramulla, Jammu, Kulgam, Ganderbal and Handwara.

Several digital devices were seized during the searches and the same have been sent for forensic analysis.

A total of 11 accused have been arrested till date for their roles in the deadly bombing that shook the national capital on 10th November 2025, killing several persons and injuring many others.

The prime accused, Umer Un Nabi, was also killed in the suicide bombing.

NIA found during investigation that Umer had masterminded the blast conspiracy in coordination with arrested co-accused and others.

The agency is continuing with its efforts to unravel the larger conspiracy behind the terror attack and to identify others involved in the plot to spread mayhem and destabilise the country.
