Shimla, March 19 (UNI) A 16-room house was completely gutted in a fire that broke out around 9:30 pm on Wednesday in Deem village of Jubbal tehsil in Shimla district.
According to reports, the house belonged to Devinder Singh and Mohinder Singh, sons of Jaggi Ram. The blaze rapidly engulfed the structure, reducing it to ashes.
No loss of life was reported in the incident, though the entire property was destroyed.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. Local authorities are expected to assess the damage.
