Mumbai, March 17 (UNI) Prime Video’s upcoming original film ‘Mess’ is produced by Hrithik Roshan and Ishaan Roshan under their banner ‘HRX Films’, a division of Filmkraft Productions.
The project will be directed by Rajesh A. Krishnan in collaboration with his banner Soda Films Lab, with production expected to commence shortly. This comedy film marks the second collaboration between the streaming service and HRX Films, following the previously announced thriller series ‘Storm’.’
The film’s original screenplay was written by American author Paul Soter, with the adapted screenplay and dialogues by Kapil Sawant.
‘Mess’ tells the story of a strange group of robbers who break into the home of a man suffering from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder(OCD). Gradually, they realise that the threat isn’t to the family, but to themselves, and their survival is difficult in the night-long chase.
Hrithik said, “Storm marked the beginning of a special journey with Prime Video, and ‘Mess’ is a natural next step for our company, HRX Films.”
He added, “Our partnership with Prime Video has allowed us to create something different and innovative, and this project perfectly reflects that vision. Rajesh (Rajesh A. Krishnan) has a unique identity as a producer and director; he has a remarkable ability to combine comedy with a compelling story. His vision for ‘Mess’ has been fantastic from the beginning. As work progresses, Ishaan and I are incredibly excited about the project. We believe this film will resonate with audiences who enjoy unconventional and innovative stories.”
