Bhopal: The “Madhya Pradesh Civil Defence Volunteers’ Conclave 2026” will conclude on 18 March at the Home Guards Parade Ground in Jahangirabad, Bhopal, with Chief Minister Mohan Yadav attending as the chief guest.
The conclave has been organised with the objective of strengthening citizen safety and enhancing the role of volunteers in disaster management. During the closing ceremony, a brief overview of civil defence activities will be presented, highlighting ongoing efforts to improve preparedness and response mechanisms across the state.
Volunteers will also showcase a series of demonstrations, focusing on practical aspects of disaster management. These demonstrations are expected to be a key attraction, reflecting the preparedness and skills of civil defence personnel in handling emergency situations.
The event underscores the importance of community participation in disaster response and aims to further empower volunteers to play a proactive role in safeguarding lives and property during emergencies.
