Bhopal: As part of a statewide series of Prabhat Pheri and flag salutation programmes organised by the Madhya Pradesh Congress Seva Dal, a grand event was held in the Kolar area of Bhopal on Sunday morning. The programme was conducted in the presence of State Congress Seva Dal president Avneesh Bhargava.
A Prabhat Pheri procession was taken out from Sarvadharm to Beema Kunj, spreading messages of patriotism and the Congress ideology. The event was organised under the leadership of Bhopal District Congress Seva Dal chief organiser Nihal Ahmed, with enthusiastic participation from Seva Dal workers, office-bearers of the Block Congress Committee and a large number of local residents.
The procession concluded with a flag salutation ceremony at Beema Kunj Square. Addressing the gathering, Bhargava said that the Congress Seva Dal works to strengthen patriotism, discipline and the spirit of service among its members.
Senior Congress leader Arun Shrivastava, Block president Rahul Rathore, Moin Ahmed Siddiqui and several party workers were present.
