Bhopal: Several families in Indore have lost their loved ones in the tragic incident caused by contaminated water, leaving the community in deep grief. In the wake of the tragedy, Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee president Jeetu Patwari joined the bereaved families and offered prayers for the departed souls.
Patwari attended a programme in Bhagirathpura where the relatives of the deceased had gathered before leaving for Prayagraj to immerse the ashes of their loved ones. During the gathering, he expressed heartfelt condolences to the grieving families and prayed for peace for the departed souls.
Speaking on the occasion, Patwari said the loss suffered by the families in the contaminated water tragedy was deeply painful and had shaken the entire community. He stood with the affected families during their moment of grief and prayed for strength and courage for them to endure the irreparable loss.
He also offered prayers for the eternal peace of those who died in the tragedy and wished that such an incident never occurs again. “I pray to God to keep our Madhya Pradesh safe from any such tragedies in the future,” he said.
The families later departed for Prayagraj to perform the ritual of immersing the ashes in the sacred waters, while local residents and leaders expressed solidarity with them during this difficult time.
