Lucknow, (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh government on Friday night ordered the transfer of seven IPS officers, including the in-charges of four districts, as part of an administrative reshuffle in the state police department.
According to the official order, Dr. Brijesh Kumar Singh, who was serving as Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) in Badaun, has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police (SP), Logistics, Uttar Pradesh. He replaces Om Prakash Singh (1), who has now been appointed as the new SP of Kansganj, in place of Ankita Sharma, who has been posted as the new SSP of Badaun.
In another transfer, Abhinav Tyagi, who was serving as Additional SP in Gorakhpur, has been appointed as the new SP of Bhadohi. He replaces Abhimanyu Manglik, who has been transferred as SP of Fatehpur in place of Anoop Kumar Singh, who was attached to the office of the Director General of Police (DGP).
Meanwhile, Nimish Dashrath Patil, who was serving as Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police in the Ghaziabad Police Commissionerate, has been transferred and posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (City) in Gorakhpur.
The reshuffle is part of the state government’s ongoing administrative adjustments in the police department.
