Dial-112 team rushes woman in labour

Bhopal: A Dial-112 emergency response team in Indore district promptly assisted a woman suffering from severe labour pain after her family’s car broke down on the way to hospital late at night, ensuring she received timely medical treatment.

The incident occurred on March 12 near Umaria Toll Plaza on Mhow Road under Kishanganj police station limits. The Dial-112 FRV team, which was on night patrol in the area, found the pregnant woman in acute labour pain. Her family members were taking her to hospital, but their car developed a fault midway, leaving them stranded.

The information was also conveyed to the State-level Police Control Room Dial-112 in Bhopal.

Constable Gajraj Katare and pilot Virendra Katare immediately assessed the urgency of the situation and acted swiftly. The team shifted the woman and her relatives into the FRV vehicle and rushed her to Choithram Hospital, where she was admitted to the maternity ward and provided medical care.
