Perth, March 3 (UNI) Indian pacer Renuka Thakur has been ruled out of the only Test of the ongoing multi-format women’s series against Australia due to workload management concerns.
The one-off pink-ball Test is scheduled to be played at the WACA Ground in Perth.
In a statement, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said Renuka has been advised rest to better manage her workload and will not be available for selection for the match. The BCCI Medical Team will continue to closely monitor her fitness progress.
