No “Dhurandhar 2” trailer to unveil on March 3

Mumbai, Mar 2 (UNI) The news of the trailer release of the successor of the chartbuster “Dhurandhar” titled “Dhurandhar: The Revenge”, previously dated on March 3, has been doing the rounds on various news sites, but the makers have put an end to such speculations, stating that the cinegoers should wait for official confirmation.

“Dhurandhar,” which has been a record-breaker in 2025 with its high-pitched action and tight storyline, continues to grab the eyeballs of the moviebuffs, with each and every update.

In the original film, Ranveer Singh portrayed Hamza Ali Mazari, also known as Jaskirat Singh Rangi, an underestimated figure navigating treacherous terrain. In “Dhurandhar: The Revenge”, he is said to return as a commanding and formidable presence in Lyari, reflecting a compelling transformation in both power and persona, reports Variety India.

Apart from Singh, “Dhurandhar 2” also sees R. Madhavan (as Ajay Sanyal), Arjun Rampal (as Major Iqbal), Sanjay Dutt (as SP Chaudhary Aslam), Rakesh Bedi (as Jameel Jamali), Danish Pandor (as Uzair Baloch) and Sara Arjun (as Yalina Jamali) among others reprising their roles.

Helmed by Aditya Dhar, it is mounted by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar under the banners of Jio Studios and B62 Studios. Unlike the prequel, the spy action thriller will also be released in dubbed versions of Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.

It is set to hit the screens on March 19, during the festive weekend of Eid and will clash with another pan-India biggie, “Toxic,” which features Yash, Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, Kyle Paul and Rukmini Vasanth in key roles.
