Heritage on display at Nandishwar Jinalaya

  • Siddh Chakra Mandal Vidhan draws flood of devotees

Bhopal:  The sacred halls of Shri Nandishwar Jinalaya, Lalghati, recently witnessed a confluence of devotion and history during the Siddh Chakra Maha Mandal Vidhan. Thousands of devotees immersed themselves in worship, performing Abhishek Puja of Lord Jinendra and offering Argh at the Mandal built within the temple premises. The ritual saw Indra and Indrani offering Shriphal, symbolizing purity and reverence.

Alongside the spiritual fervor, the temple hosted an exhibition of India’s ancient Jain heritage, showcasing texts and artifacts spanning centuries. Under the guidance of scholar Pandit Sandeep Saral of Shrut Dham Bina, devotees explored rare treasures, including 1300-year-old palm leaf manuscripts, 700-year-old gold-inscribed texts, and ancient postcard-sized Tattvartha Sutras, complemented by illustrations of Airavat elephants and Sumeru mountain.

The exhibition and Vidhan were inaugurated by the temple president and attended by notable devotees and community leaders, including Advocate Vijay Chaudhary, Pramod Usha Chaudhary, Dr. Shailendra, Dr. Swati, and many others, creating a unique blend of faith, culture, and historical reverence.

Spokesperson Anshul Jain emphasized that the event celebrated not just devotion, but India’s invaluable cultural legacy.
