BHEL launches 5-day training programme on Hydro Generators

Bhopal: A five-day customer training programme on “Hydro Generator: Manufacturing, Testing and Maintenance Aspects” for officials of NHPC Limited commenced at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Bhopal. The programme was inaugurated by T.U. Singh, General Manager (Human Resources).

Among those present were Anshuman Dixit, Additional General Manager (HGE); Upendra Singh, Additional General Manager (P&PR); Surekha Banchhor, Additional General Manager (HRD); and faculty members Pradeep Kumar Verma, Deputy General Manager (HGE), and Vivek Goswami, Senior Manager (HGE). Twenty officials are participating in the training.

Addressing the gathering, Singh described NHPC as a valued customer and stressed the importance of such initiatives in bridging operational gaps, strengthening technical collaboration and enhancing mutual understanding. He highlighted BHEL’s continued focus on operational efficiency, improved product quality and prompt, reliable customer service.

Dixit stated that BHEL Bhopal serves as an engineering and design development centre for hydro generators, with over five decades of experience in supplying heavy hydroelectric project equipment, ranging from mini and micro units to high-capacity megawatt generators. The programme was conducted by Umesh Kumar Sawale, Manager (HRD), who also delivered the vote of thanks.
