The pace of development in West Delhi will not slow down: Rekha Gupta

New Delhi, Feb 24 (UNI) Rekha Gupta on Tuesday evening visited Vikaspuri in West Delhi Parliamentary constituency to mark the completion of one year of the Delhi Government in office.

On the occasion, a large public meeting and party workers’ conference was organised at Dussehra Maidan in Vikaspuri, where the Chief Minister interacted with local residents and party workers and appreciated their contribution in implementing government schemes at the grassroots level.

West Delhi MP Kamaljeet Sehrawat, Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva and members of the Delhi Cabinet were present at the event.

Addressing the gathering, Gupta highlighted the achievements of the past 365 days and said the year was dedicated to “service, good governance and welfare of the poor”.

She described improvements in key sectors such as education, healthcare, electricity and water supply as the government’s biggest achievements.

She said the success of any government depends on workers at the grassroots level.

“Our workers in West Delhi have shown strong commitment in taking government schemes to every household. This one year of success belongs not just to the government, but to all dedicated workers,” she said.

Reaffirming her commitment to public service, the Chief Minister said the year was not about power but about serving the people.

She assured that the pace of development in West Delhi would be further accelerated in the coming months.

During her visit, she also reviewed ongoing development projects in the West Delhi Parliamentary constituency and directed officials to ensure timely completion of works. UNI PKJ KK
