New Delhi: REC Limited, a Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, will play a pivotal role at the India AI Impact Summit and Expo 2026 to be held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. A leader in power-sector financing and digital transformation, REC will host three high-level thematic global sessions and present advanced AI-driven technologies at its dedicated pavilion. The organisation will convene strategic discussions on the convergence of Artificial Intelligence, energy transition and infrastructure finance in collaboration with international partners. These include the Global Mission on AI for Energy session with the International Solar Alliance on 16 February focusing on AI-ready and citizen-ready power systems; the AI Energy Finance Trifecta session with the World Bank on 17 February examining policy and financing frameworks for energy-intensive data centres and green digital infrastructure; and the India Energy Stack and the AI-Ready Power Sector session with FSR Global on 18 February exploring interoperable digital public infrastructure to empower consumers and reduce integration costs. A key highlight will be the launch of a Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Energy Trading Programme aimed at enabling households and small businesses to securely trade surplus solar power and become active energy market participants. REC will also showcase innovative AI-based solutions at its 140 sq m pavilion located at First Floor, Hall 4 (4F.19), demonstrating technologies designed to enhance grid efficiency, strengthen utility performance and accelerate India’s transition towards a smarter and greener energy future. Through these initiatives, REC Limited reiterates its commitment to integrating advanced technology with robust infrastructure to build a sustainable and digitally empowered India.
