Earthquake strikes Russia’s Krasnodar territory

Moscow, Feb 10 (UNI/ Sputnik) A magnitude 4.8 earthquake struck Russia’s Krasnodar Territory, the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said.

On Tuesday, Novorossiysk Mayor Andrei Kravchenko said that tremors were recorded 30 kilometers (18.6 miles) from the city and did not cause any damage to the city’s infrastructure.

According to the EMSC, the magnitude 4.8 earthquake struck at 23:21 GMT 35 kilometers northwest of Novorossiysk. The epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 10 kilometers.
