Bhopal: The Dial-112 emergency response service in Madhya Pradesh has emerged as a strong symbol of swift action, humanitarian sensitivity and public safety, rescuing and assisting 57 people across the State in the past seven days. The beneficiaries included elderly persons, women and children who received timely help due to prompt intervention by Dial-112 teams.
In Morena district, Dial-112 personnel rushed an elderly man injured in a head-on collision between a truck and a motorcycle to hospital after providing first aid, while a seven-year-old girl who had lost her way in Ambah was safely reunited with her family. Similar quick responses were reported from Seoni, Shivpuri, Khargone, Sagar, Chhatarpur, Bhopal, Satna, Jabalpur, Ashoknagar, Sheopur, Narmadapuram, Rewa, Balaghat, Barwani, Ujjain, Tikamgarh, Indore and Chhindwara.
Across these districts, Dial-112 teams assisted victims of road accidents, helped persons who had consumed poisonous substances, and traced missing children and elderly citizens, ensuring their safe return to families. Coordination with ambulances and hospitals enabled timely medical treatment, highlighting Dial-112’s crucial role in emergency management and citizen safety across Madhya Pradesh.
