‘Mirzapur: The Movie’ to release in cinemas on September 4

Mumbai, Feb 5 (UNI) The popular crime drama “Mirzapur: The Movie” is set to release in cinemas on September 4, marking the first big-screen outing of the hugely popular “Mirzapur,” it was announced on Thursday.

According to Amazon MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment, Mirzapur: The Movie narrates an untold chapter from the Mirzapur universe. It is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar and co-produced by Kassim Jagmagia and Vishal Ramchandani under the banner of Excel Entertainment. The film is directed by Gurmmeet Singh and written by Puneet Krishna.

The film will transport audiences to the same raw and powerful world, but this time on a grander scale than ever before. Pankaj Tripathi’s Kaleen Bhaiya, Ali Fazal’s Guddu Pandit, and Divyenndu’s Munna Bhaiya are making their much-awaited comebacks.

For the first time, the cult story of Mirzapur will return to theaters, offering fans an immersive big-screen experience. The film also stars Jitendra Kumar, Ravi Kishan, Abhishek Banerjee, Rasika Duggal, Shweta Tripathi, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Harshita Gaur, Sushant Singh Rajput, Mohit Malik, Sheeba Chaddha, Rajesh Tailang, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, and Sonal Chauhan in pivotal roles.
