Bhopal: In a significant administrative move over alleged irregularities in the Health Department, the Regional Director of Health Services has directed the Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO), Bhopal, to submit all documents related to the registration of the NRI Institute of Nursing, Bhopal, and the affiliated Parental Arnav Hospital within 24 hours.

The action follows a complaint filed by NSUI state vice-president Ravi Parmar, who alleged that officials posted in the CMHO office prepared fake and forged physical inspection reports to mislead the authorities and provide undue benefits to the institutions concerned.

According to preliminary findings, the roles of Dr Ritesh Rawat and Dr Abhishek Sen have been found to be suspicious. Preparations are underway to initiate departmental and legal action against both officers. NSUI has demanded their suspension and the registration of FIRs after completion of the inquiry.

The Regional Director has emphasised that all records related to registration, recognition, inspection and physical verification must be produced within the stipulated time to ensure a fair and transparent investigation.
