MP Police observe 2 -minute silence in memory of martyrs

Bhopal: A two-minute silence was observed across the country on 30 January to honour the immortal martyrs who laid down their lives during India’s freedom struggle. In keeping with this solemn tradition, a tribute ceremony was held at the new Police Headquarters campus in Bhopal on Friday morning.

At exactly 11.00 am, senior officers and personnel of the Madhya Pradesh Police stood in silence to pay their respects to the fallen heroes. The observance reflected a collective moment of remembrance and gratitude for the supreme sacrifices made in the cause of the nation’s independence.

Director General of Police Kailash Makwana was present on the occasion, along with other senior police officers and staff members. The gathering reaffirmed the police force’s commitment to the values of service, sacrifice and national duty embodied by the martyrs.

The ceremony concluded in a dignified and reflective atmosphere, underscoring the enduring legacy of India’s freedom fighters.
