Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar dies in Baramati plane crash

Mumbai, Jan 28 (UNI): A plane carrying Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and NCP leader Ajit Pawar crashed on Wednesday in Baramati district. Details of the incident are still awaited.
Reports suggest that a private company jet crashed while attempting to land. Ajit Pawar and three others were on board and were immediately taken to a hospital by ambulance.
Locals witnessed the crash, and top police and state officials have reached the site.
Ajit Pawar was scheduled to address a public meeting for the Municipal elections. The nature of the crash, the extent of the damage, and the condition of the NCP leader are yet to be ascertained.
