New Delhi, Jan 27 (UNI) Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning, gusty winds and light to moderate rainfall are very likely to affect parts of north India over the next three hours, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Tuesday.
According to the IMD, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, west Uttar Pradesh, north Rajasthan and adjoining areas of west Madhya Pradesh are expected to witness unstable weather conditions.
Similar conditions are also likely over Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh during the same period.
The weather department has advised residents to remain cautious, avoid open areas during lightning, and follow local advisories. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation.
