New Delhi, Jan 22 (UNI) The much-anticipated trailer for Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri’s dark romantic thriller ‘O’Romeo’ has finally dropped, plunging audiences into a world of love, violence, and revenge.
Shahid Kapoor plays Ustara, a raw, untamed gangster shaped by both passion and vengeance, embarking on a murderous rampage that drives the film’s intense narrative.
The trailer opens with glimpses of Mumbai’s shadowy underworld, a world ruled by power, survival, and desire. Triptii Dimri portrays a woman in distress who seeks Ustara’s help, only for their emotions to spiral into conflict, creating a tense and gripping storyline inspired by true events.
The chemistry between Shahid and Triptii takes center stage, expressed through silences, restrained emotions, and unspoken longing. Avinash Tiwary, as the film’s antagonist, is seen engaging in brutal fights and bull-slaying sequences, establishing the savage nature of his character.
Veteran actor Nana Patekar also makes a striking appearance, alongside Farida Jalal, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Disha Patani. Shahid and Disha light up the screen in a peppy dance number, while Vikrant Massey makes a special cameo.
Adding depth to the film’s emotional landscape is the collaboration of Vishal Bhardwaj with lyricist Gulzar and singer Arijit Singh, promising a soundtrack that resonates with the movie’s poetic yet dark tone.
Earlier this month, the makers released the song ‘Hum To Tere Hi Liye The’, which contrasts the film’s gritty backdrop with fragile, heartfelt emotions.
Presented by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, ‘O’Romeo’ is directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and is slated for release on Valentine’s Week, February 13, 2026.
