Bhopal: Serious allegations have surfaced against the Anandpur Dham Trust located in the Isagarh area of Ashoknagar district. Former trust member and Pradesh Congress Scheduled Caste Department president Pradeep Ahirwar has written to the Madhya Pradesh Director General of Police (DGP), demanding a high-level and impartial inquiry into the trust’s activities.
In his letter, Ahirwar alleged that criminal and unconstitutional activities have been taking place at Anandpur Dham for a long time, but no effective action has been taken despite repeated complaints. He claimed that large, secret basements were constructed within the trust premises without obtaining permission from the municipal administration or informing any competent authority, raising concerns about their possible use for illegal activities.
The letter further alleged cases of physical and mental exploitation of young men and women, as well as illegal occupation and unethical transactions involving land belonging to Dalits, tribals and backward classes. Ahirwar claimed that victim statements, video evidence and documents are available, while questioning the role of the local police.
He also alleged that individuals were sent to other states, including Punjab and Karnataka, without legal procedures, indicating possible human trafficking. Citing alleged administrative patronage, he demanded the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to ensure justice for the victims.
