MP Police trace 29 missing minors

Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh Police have achieved notable success over the past seven days by tracing and safely recovering 29 missing and abducted minors across multiple districts of the state. Through coordinated efforts, swift field responses and the use of technical and cyber analysis, all children were reunited with their families following due legal procedures.

In Shivpuri, police teams recovered seven minor girls from various police station areas, including Rannod, Subhashpura, Indar, Dehat, Dinara and Magroni outpost. Some of the children were traced from locations as far as Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh and Kota in Rajasthan.

In Dewas, five missing minor girls were located within 72 hours and handed over to their families after counselling and awareness sessions aimed at preventing future incidents.

Similarly, in Chhatarpur, four minor girls were traced within 24 hours through technical surveillance and coordinated searches at railway stations.

A particularly swift response was seen in Ashoknagar, where Chandery police recovered a 15-year-old and a four-year-old girl within just one hour of receiving the complaint.

In Vidisha, police recovered three minor girls in separate cases, arresting an accused in one incident. Chhindwara police traced two minor students missing from a Navodaya school within hours, while in Balaghat, a kidnapped minor girl was safely recovered from Bhuj district in Gujarat.

In Gwalior, Mohna police traced a missing minor girl from Delhi within 24 hours. Khargone police recovered a five-year-old girl from a temple area within half an hour of launching a search operation, while Indore police safely traced an eight-year-old girl from an urban locality.

Additionally, police teams in Khandwa and Betul districts recovered one minor girl each.

Senior officials stated that the achievement reflects the effectiveness of alert policing, cyber monitoring, local intelligence and strong inter-district coordination. The operation underscores that Madhya Pradesh Police are not only guardians of law and order, but also a force committed to humanity and child safety.
