Indore: In a shocking crackdown on narcotics, the Indore Police have arrested a Bhopal resident, identified as Aban Shakeel, for allegedly smuggling synthetic drugs. Shakeel, reportedly the principal of St. Michael’s School in Bhopal, was intercepted by the Kanadia Police while allegedly attempting to supply MD drugs across the city. The high-profile arrest took place after police stopped his Mahindra Thar, which was reportedly being used to transport and distribute the contraband.
During the search, officers recovered 5.15 grams of MD drugs and immediately seized the luxury SUV. Preliminary investigations suggest that Shakeel was an active link in an organized drug network operating within Indore. Local authorities are now conducting intensive interrogations to uncover the extent of his involvement and to identify his associates in other cities. “We are investigating how long the accused has been active in this trade and who his primary buyers were,” a senior official stated. The arrest of an educational figure in a drug trafficking case has sent shockwaves through both Bhopal and Indore, as police prepare to dismantle the wider supply chain linked to this network.
