Bhopal: Cases of cyber fraud targeting parents of students appearing for the State Open School Education Board examinations have come to light in the state. The fraudsters are posing as representatives of the board and demanding money from parents on the pretext of helping their children pass the exams.
Following these incidents, the State Open School Education Board has issued a helpline number, 0755-2671066, for students and parents. The board has also clarified that no person with the names used by the fraudsters is employed by the State Open School Education Board. It is completely impossible to pass anyone in this manner. The results of the examinees are declared solely on the basis of the evaluation of the answers written in their answer sheets.
The State Open School Board is filing an FIR and taking legal action against these cyber fraudsters. Students and parents are urged not to fall for such scams and to protect themselves and their children from cyber fraud.
