Bhopal: A 21-year-old MBBS student, Sachin Singh, tragically ended his life by jumping from the fifth floor of his rented apartment in Bhopal’s Premium Tower Colony. A third-year student at LN Medical College, Sachin reportedly leaped from his balcony on Saturday morning and succumbed to his injuries during treatment on Sunday evening.
Initial investigations by Kolar police suggest that Sachin had been struggling with severe mental stress for the past three months. The distress reportedly stemmed from being ignored by a female classmate.
Female student had informed his friends
On the night between Friday and Saturday, Sachin went to meet his female friend. There, he mentioned his intention to commit suicide. After that, he returned to his flat. Following this conversation, the female student called Sachin’s friends and asked them to be vigilant about his mental state.
However, after returning to the flat, Sachin behaved normally and went to sleep. In the morning, he jumped from the balcony. According to the police, no suicide note was found at the scene. The case is being investigated from all angles.
